Overview

An enterprise-level redesign that centralized logistics and yard management tools into one intelligent, configurable workspace.

FourKites needed a SaaS product experience that consolidated a wide range of logistics and facility-management tools into a single, actionable interface. Existing tools operated in isolation, forcing users to navigate between multiple dashboards to monitor yard activity, shipments, and real-time facility data.

The MyWorkspace Dashboard unified these insights into one flexible, data-driven workspace, allowing both corporate and site-level users to analyze operations and make faster decisions.

My Role

As Design Lead, I guided direction and workflow strategy across design, product, and engineering. Collaborating with three designers, two product owners, and two engineers, I led working sessions to validate user flows and translate feedback into scalable design patterns.

My focus was ensuring that the dashboard experience combined enterprise functionality with consumer-level clarity and adaptability.

Outcome

The MyWorkspace Dashboard introduced a unified experience that reduced tool-switching and improved task efficiency across enterprise users. Through multiple validation cycles with key clients, the team refined design patterns that shaped the foundation for product rollout. The resulting framework provided both scalability and visual consistency, informing future feature development and establishing a design foundation that continues to guide engineering and product decisions within the platform.
